Head and Manifold Porting

I really would like to learn how to port cylinder heads, intake manifolds, compressor housing, etc. Does anyone have experience with doing any of this? what are all of the tools that are needed? has anyone built a custom flowbench? Any recommendations and information is greatly apprieciated!

I tried to port a set of "practice" heads for my mustang when I was younger, and the results were poor (I was 18 however). If you really want to try it get an aluminum specific kit and practice first. Standard abrasives makes a good starter set for use with air grinders, and it has a decent manual on port matching and basic use. I really can't recommend it if you're going for more power, because it takes years to learn how to do it well, and a bad porting job will wreck your flow pattern.
