Well I use to be friends with this guy that always had to have the "better of whatever it was" than the rest of us. So now that I got my Supra and he knows its fast just the way it is (just some minor mods). So he just informed me that he bought a "BIZNITCHIN247: 87 ford mustang gt
BIZNITCHIN247: wit a built 306 and a 250 shoot nos
BIZNITCHIN247: she will run around a high 9"

I dont know or havent researched this type of car at all so I dont know about it. What I do know is that hes got a history of telling some pretty wild stories :nono: so I dont know whether to believe him about this either or not?

He better have some major shit on it to run 9's. Granted a biult 306 and a 250 shot will make it go, but 9's is optimistic. I have one of those friends too, but he also buys and pays for everything himself, cobra, cbr 900 , viper(snomobile) but hey what ever, hes still a good friend.

Lol, great advice! I'll take it into account and if he keeps talkin, I'll let him keep on goin. Its what I've been doing for the past couple years when everytime he'll talk to me, its about something new that hes got. Lol heres some good reading with examples in the past. :biglaugh:
Cars hes "had"....or not: Nova, RX-7, 350Z, 93 Camry with swapped in "Supra" as he says engine. thats all the info he could give on that, well accept the part about it being a tt of course lol
Cars I've seen: leased, but claimed to own Mazda3, and the 93 camry SHELL!
Oh and lets not forget about the 89 or so Buick Riviera that is his daily driver lol.
Says he had 170+ SPL systems in each, and I wont even get started on what he said his dad has had.

He probibly does have a fox body one with duel exhaust, 5.0 emblems on the side and a four cylinder under the hood. At the end of the day its not what you have its wanting what you got. You got a Supra end of story.

Even if he does have a mustang, AND it's really fast, ask him how well the automatic climate control works... and whether the ladies like the removable roof option. Check how well the anti lock brakes work... ask if he's comfortable driving 4000 miles in it. What, the shocks on the old mustangs don't automatically adjust to make the ride comfy if you are driving across the country?

yeah he saounds like aguy that i know. every sin ce i got my tt supra 1g my friend swears he can out run me in his damn saturn its a friggin 124 hp sl2 auto but he wants do do it at a big drag strip and all this bs. haha he sounds just like the guy your talking about. guess im not the only one with a dumbass for a friend. i would tell your friend to meet you at the track and run him embarass the hell out of him and then see how long it takes him to come back for more

LOL, all my friends fear me, but they're mostly 40+ years old. Some wouldn't get in my car when I had 300rwhp, but now that I should be 450+, they won't get within 10 feet of my car even with the motor out. :biglaugh:

You need like a Roller 460, Built C6 with trans-brake and a 100mm turbo if you wanna go 9's. Oh yah and tubbed to shit. Oh yah and fibreglass everything. Oh yah and balls of steel. Oh yah and racing/alcohol fuel.

I don't think you have much to worry about.
