Here is my problem.
I had Jarco rebuild my engine, and pulled/installed the motor myself. I had no fuel pressure before, and replaced my fuel pump with a Walbro. Now the car starts.
I let the car warm up, it idles around 700 rpm when cold. Then the idle would drop down to 300-500, and the car would die. (After warmed up.)
I was throwing code 51, and adjusting the TPS 3 times did not fix the issue.
Also my timing was at 20 degree's TDC.
So, i bought a new TPS. Adjusted it per my haynes manual and now my timing is perfect at 10 degrees TDC (Jumpered and warmed up). I do not have any more codes.
The car still idles low and will die after the car is warmed up. I have searched and have not found anything very helpful.
The car is a 89+. The throttle body adjustment screw is blocked off.
What could cause my low idle problem? Does the ECU need to relearn? Do i need to adjust the screw by the throttle linkage on the TB?
Any help is appreciated.
