yeah definitely get a BOV after the spool-up. as for the gauges, i say make em animated like the defi gauge start-up sequence. other than that, looks great.

^I have to agree. I hate flash sites...most times you can't open links in new pages which is REALLY annoying when you have to sift through pages and pages to try and get back to one point...

I Love the Look of it. Makes for a fun presentation.

Unforchinatly i went to check it out while on dial-up and man oh man that was some killer wait time.

Flash can be amazingly good if used in the right proportions. I have seen quite a few sites that have flash integrated with HTML makes for a great dynamic site while keeping quick load times.

Jon i am not trying to discourage you or put your friend down. that is not my intention. just incase it seem to come acrross that way

Just a little off shoot if you want to see some crazy good flash work check these guys out. I found these site when i used to work for one of the Big Computer Resellers

http://www.2advanced.com

http://www.2advanced.net is a good example of a business site that has flash and html

Not feeling it, Jon.
But at the same time, I do believe that you should get a new site going.
I'm not the biggest fan of your current one.

that 2advanced.net site is amazing. I love it. All the mouseovers and little animations.... fantastic.

The moving graphics are very distracting. I noticed a comment about sound effects. Sound effects are awful on websites, stay way way away. The viewable part of the website doesn't scale well to a larger monitor size.

And finally, Flash SUCKS! Some people still use text web browsers you know, or view web pages through remote desktop/VNC where images slow down the connection and moving graphics practically choke your control of the computer away. Flash intros are alright, but I still think they are lame.

If your going with flash, I suggest an option to either open the site using flash or just skipping over it... because of people with dial up and slow computers. And on sound, sometimes I like it but sometimes its just unneccessary and kind of annoying... but man do I like the ideas I can't wait to see the finished product, nice work so far.

The simpler the better. It's a little too (for lack of a better word) flashy, if that's what everyone's going to see on first visit. I know I wouldn't delve further into the site if that's what I found initially.

If you absolutely have to have sound (which I would disagree with), have a sound on/off button available.
