Have your seats had it?

And by that, i mean, are they worn and crappy? Is the foam still good but the fabric/leather torn and worn?

Try these for size:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300209686707

Read the description too - they're not slide ons, they're pro kits and cheaper than having your leather re-trimmed!

And yes, i've ordered a set for myself in grey, with a Supra Logo in the middle of the seat :)

Yeah, I'd stands on that.

That's the only thing that I am apprehensive about is I live in Arizona where we get this brutal ass murdering summers, but I work 6PM till 3AM so it will be a little cooler out.

Those look really nice. However, the guy is smack talking vinyl, which leads me to believe that he is either running some marketing spin, or has NFI what he is talking about.

I swear I'm going to get some modern vinyl samples and bring them to every car show / meet I attend. The stuff is amazing. Leather doesn't even begin to compare.

Not saying the ebay thing isn't legit - but just a heads up, I have seen those exact pictures and description elsewhere.

The guy has been involved in extensive group guys in Australia (which seemed to go well). People actually went to his workshop and had the covers fitted, so he definitely lived in Victoria, Australia at the time of that group buy.

Dunno why it is on ebay UK. Maybe it is a vendor buying from the Aussie guy? For all I know it might be exactly the same guy. In any case, just be aware.

Also watch out for difficulties with LHD and RHD. I believe the templates were cut from an Australian MKIII, and don't know how American seats differ (if at all).

They look good though. Here are some pictures of MKIII seats from the supraforums.com.au link above. They belong to Xsjado and are not my pics - I hope he doesn't mind.

Edit: You can see them in his build thread here - http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68189

DeSloth is on the money... Definitely look the same as the Aussie ones. Nevertheless, they are awesome, and definitely on my list of things I want for my baby :)

DeSloth those seats look nice. I like the stitching on them. I really want to go with leather with a suede(alcantra) insert when I get my seats covered.

The seats aren't mine - both the seats themselves and the pictures belong to Xsjado on the forum. (He's a cool guy and gave me the ok to post the pics).

I agree that they look fantastic. If my seats weren't in good condition, these would already have been purchased.

I checked out the ebay thing a bit better, and apparently the guy in the UK is an authorised re-seller, so nothing at all suss :)

Kai - Yep, the RHD thing was just a heads-up for our American and Canadian friends.

Thanks for that DeSloth :). Those ebay seat covers are 100% identical to the ones that are in my car, identical add to the ones you can find on ebay.com.au. That and the fact I saw some of those seats when I was picking mine up from his place :D.
