We just got my wife's turbo back today, and the man that rebuilt it said that it has a h3 trim. I haven't ever heard of that, but I don't know too much about turbo trim either. I was wondering if any of you had heard of it. Do you know of any pros or cons that come with it? Please don't tell me it will tear up in a week, cause I may slice my wrist..................lol

Thanks IJ, Vonda posted pictures of it today in the build up section. I know you can't tell anything from the picture, but that's exactly what he said it was. We told him to upgrade it and that's what he said it was. H3 trim..........:dunno:

I see no pictures of this turbo in the buildup section....

It's titled My Turbo by MKIIIVixen. Their are a few pictures on it there, but I doubt you can tell what kind of wheel it is.

IJ, I would never doubt you, so I guess he is lieing. For what reason, I don't know. I will call him Monday and find out for sure one way or another..........lol

Seems like all I ever get is bad news here lately. Didn't really want to hear that my turbo wouldn't last very long, but MDC, I know you are speaking from experience, and I don't doubt you for one second. Maybe I will be the exception and not the rule..................:x:

Actually the guy that built it is not a redneck hillbillie. He seems to be really knowledgeable. I know he said he did some maching. I don't know if he machined the inlet of the turbo or not. I don't really know. I called him today, but his shop is closed for vacation until Wednesday of next week. I will ask him then................lol

All my life I've heard......" don't force it, get a bigger hammer."

I never knew it applied to rebuilding turbos though.............lol
