i recall them being underneath/ontop the roof liner(between the roof itself, and the liner), so youll probably have to pull that down.

you will have to take the headliner out to get to the wiring. putting it back on is a pain trying to get it to line up. i switched mine out and that was the hardest part.

I just swapped hatches on my car.........there are the gas shocks, 4 bolts on the hinges, the wiring clip on the driver's side and the rear window antenna.

It all should be pretty intuitive for the bolts and the shocks.

For the wiring clip on the driver's side, take the water proof boot off going into the hatch and pull the wires out. Pry the clip off (carefully) with a very small screwdriver (jeweller's type works well).

For the antenna.........do you have an aftermarket stereo? Yeah? Remember the antenna plug under the dash that goes nowhere on the new stereo? That's what it is.........screw trying to feed it back through. Cut it off and forget it.........that is unless you're uber anal about that sort of thing or are running a stock stereo - then you're gonna have to figure out a way to ram it back through there (long stick, wooden dowel, etc.)
