has anyone tried to use the 74bulb twist lock bulbs for their g/c?(SUPERBRIGHTLEDS)

i only ask because just buying the 74 bulbs from SBL.com doesn't seem to fit properly. if you push them in all the way, it expands the stock twist lock and wont fit right. so, i was curious if anyone has tried the 74 LED bulb WITH the twist lock from superbrightleds.com and used them for their gauge cluster. please don't point me to the "comprehensive lighting" thread cause i have read through that thread numerous times. well, here's the link to show you what i'm talking about...

Why didn't you just get the proper 194 bulbs?

i did. they work fine. it's just the 74bulbs that are the problem

they work fine, just shave off a tiiinnnnyyyyy amount on the sides of the cluster hole with your car key or a screw driver, it'll fit fine..

(Ive done atleast 5 clusters it's no biggie..)

I was able to wriggle them in with a bit of effort.

Yea just cut the hole a bit bigger on the cluster itself.
