Has anyone seen an mkIII in top gear (besides the intro?)

I was watching an old top gear on youtube, and I noticed the intro more or less showcases an mkIII. There has been mention of this in this thread but just the intro.

I was wondering if they ever had a full episode with part dedicated to our car? I figured there is a good chance that if they used clips of one in the intro, they would have also used the car in a show, but I could be wrong...

anybody know?

haha thats from a while ago. all those cars on f plates would have been 1988. when i saw the intro i could remember it though at thatime i didnt know what a mkiii was


haha some of the cars are really old fashioned looking now

aye propper stuffy twat that presenter like. i cant remember a mkiii being on top gear. then again i was only young. they did blow that black one up a while ago. but thats the newer better top gear rather than the old man crackly sort of top gear

I remember there was a G reg one on Monster Garage that they turned into a turbocharged lawnmower...but never seen a Mk3 on top gear, barring that intro sequence...

They did blow up a black MKIII in an episode of Fifth gear...Season 3 Episode 4.

Looked clean too :3d_frown:

There's two other Supras I've seen so far in my top/fifth gear collection. A test of a MKIV Supra by Tiff in some old Topgear, and in Fifth gear he drives the Tom's Supra for a very brief bit.

I'll try to upload or find a link if anyone's interested in any of these.
