Has anyone ever had a stock supra dynoed?

I have an 89 turbo 5spd Supra... I wanted to know if anyone has ever had this Supra bone stock dynoed. Even though Toyota claims that this car makes 232Hp I want to really know what it makes at the wheels. All Opinions and Facts are much appreciated, thanks.

I dyno'd 205 RWHP & 215 TQ, 1991 Turbo Auto, with K & N & 3 inch catback, stock downpipe. My 7m had around 75,000 miles on it when tested.

Pretty close to stock.

Actually...This car was gorgeous enough to EASILY win ROTM.
It was a bone stock Supra with 43k original miles.
The most maintained car I've seen; Both Exterior/Interior & Motor.
I felt like I was taken back to the 80's when I saw it.

He had never dynoed his car before, and rolled into it not sure what he was doing. If it says anything, he sold it for $11.5k. Completely stock with the exception of wheels.

I've seen many stock MA71's dyno.
I've seen as low as 198RWHP...
and the most I've ever seen was 243RWHP........Open downpipe, though.
Stock boost, Stock everything, with the exception of that.

Stock turbo in brand new condition should be ~190RWHP if I'm not mistaken.

Agreed..... The low number was because he was unfamiliar with the Dyno & let out of it at 4K RPM's. Got spooked when he seen the speedo hit 120mph :icon_surp He really got nervous by some spectators Neg. comments on him putting a stock Supra on a dyno esp one so nice. I'm sure a balls to the wall pull would have produced quite a bit higher #'s. I don't think he sold it for the $11,500 offer.

I talked to someone that spoke with him a lot at the meet and I think he said he had a guy offer $11k...But he was solid on his $11.5 and declined it.

And upon realizing something else.....The car actually only has 38k miles on it!
(Via Cardomain page, anyway)

Anywho........A good conditioned stock Supra should typically be making 190RWHP to 200RWHP.

Thanks too all of you for this valueable info. Reason I asked is because the KandN website dynoed a 91 turbo 5spd supra and claims it was makeing 170hp with no filter and 178 with the filter. I realized that alot of factors come into play when dynoing a car. when it comes down to it its all the operators fault. Anyways I just wanted to know cuz I know my supra has a little bit more power than that. All I have is a catback and kandn filter, and hopefully a DP comeing soon =). Thanks alot guys!
