hardpipes good vac source?

hey guys i was wondering if the hardpipes right before the throttle body is a good place to tap into for a boost gauge? if not why? thanks alot

no. boost gauge needs to be on a vac source IN the manifold.

thats what i figured. i just picked up a hardpipe from a member, and there was two fittings on it one which fit on my boost gauge fitting. i guess i will just plug them off. thanks
