My car is an 88 turbo auto, All stock. When the car is cold, It is nearly impossible to start. It will sputter a few times and shut off. After lots and lots of tries it will fire up, But run like it has a miss. Once its above 1000rpms, It runs great. And after its warm If it falls below 1000rpms, It will run like it has a miss. I am thinking it is either a coilpack going bad or the CPS...Anyone experienced this, Or at least have an idea?

Sounds like you could have a boost leak, or one of yours plug wires is bad or something...check in the spark plug galley for oil. Will it boost smoothly, any smoke? What psi will it boost to, and will it stay there?

How much for the KYB's?

It boosts to about 6 or 7 psi, And it holds it pretty nicely. The car has a brand new head HG and arp studs, So it doesnt leak oil from the valve covers or anywhere. The reason I think its the CPS is because someone cut the wiring harness for it and spliced the wires backtogether. And the cover is missing off of it. The car runs beautiful all the time. It just when it goes below 1000 rpms, It will kind of hesitate and sputter like when a sparkplug is going bad. Also, The shocks are 140 shipped. There brand new and have just been sitting there for about a month. Never been opened or installed or anything, I only took one out to take some pictures of it.
