Haltech on 1JZ using LS1 Coils

Is anyone out there using LS1 coils on a 1JZ with a Haltech? If your car is up and running, I have a few questions for you. Thanks.

Did he have any problems getting the car started? How about not getting enough spark?

nope, cars runs great. Has never had a miss fire so far up to 26 pounds of boost made 620rwhp and revs to 8500. It is a 2JZGE also.

Sounds encouraging. I have an E6K that i want to wire up to my GE too, but mine is an AUTO. Can it be done?

Would i need the OEM ECU to control the AUTO tranny, or can i get rid of it?

Im not sure. Ive never done a haltech with an auto tranny but I dont see why it wouldnt work. I imagine the OEM ecu would still controll the tranny.
