Yep, my keyboard from 98 is too old for me then keys arnt workin so great.

So........

I want something thin, and stylish. I dont need gamer stuff, or anything fancy. I saw an aluminum one that apple makes that would be super sweet but I run the pc's........ Machined black aluminum would be PIMP......

Suggestions?

this one is nice.

This KB kicks all others ass... Even the name is cool OPTIMUS MAXIMUS !

http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/

Each key is a stand-alone display showing the function it is currently associated with. You wanted a PIMP keyboard , so here it is.. only
$462.27

I have the Saitek Eclipse II Keyboard. I am against all the big gamer keyboards, but at the same time want something that works well, has good key clicks etc... the LEDs, eh just a "Ricer" Bonus. The keyboard works very well for me.

The Blank Keyboard, I have thought about getting one of those, but in reality, why make life harder then you have to. I rarely look at the keyboard (99.9% of the time, I don't even glance at the keys), but in reality there are those times where you want to find something specific (if you have not 100% learned the SHIFT + # combinations.).

My only opinions, but the Saitek Eclipse II is a nice keyboard, for a somewhat good price.

My 2 cents

Personally... as you have been using a wired keyboard. Keep it... Don't get me wrong, I am up with all of the latest tech gadgets.... I purchased an ipod touch the day it came out (returned it), I have the Pioneer D3 in my car, the newest Escort 9500i radar detector, best 21 inch LCD when it came on the market...

Wireless Keyboard / Mice are the stupidest invention (aside for laptops) out there...

A keyboard generally stays within a 2 foot radius of the computer itself, and replacing the batteries when they run out, and the opps, I don't have batteries to replace it with... yea I would stick with Wired IMO (reason I have a "gaming keyboard", only shit that is good quality yet still wired now adays")

I don't really care if I have a wired or wireless keyboard since it just sits on my desk, but if I was using it with a TV or something, then I'd love a wireless. Just different products for different needs. Also, any quality keyboard/mouse you buy will have rechargeable batteries either with a docking station or a charger you can hot swap with. I've got a Logitech G15 (the original, not the new sux0rz one), and a G7 gaming mouse, as well as an MX1000 mouse, both are wireless, both are Lithium Ion, the G7 has comes with 2 batteries and a charger. When it dies you always have a new one to throw in. With the MX1000, the internal battery is larger and it has a docking station, so whenever I'm not using it, it's on the dock and charging.

I've never had either run out of batteries and I couldn't use the computer. I like wireless mice because the cord doesn't get caught on anything or get in the way. My keyboard rarely if ever moves, so wired is fine.

I assume you have opened your 98 keyboard at some point of time, and cleaned it? :D

This keyboard went thru college with me. So yes, it has been cleaned, thrown in the dishwasher, had beer and various other "fluids" on it and in it.

I just want something cool looking.

I have a Saitek Eclipse [the first one] I love it! Its one of the best keyboards i've ever had. The keystrokes are nice and smooth, perfect, and the back lighting actually looks nice [if you're into that]. And, well theres 2 versions of the eclipse, you can get it without back lit keys, or with. :p

and mac keyboards should work on a PC I think. I tried one from my friends' mac once, it worked.
