I'm usually a last minute costume shopper, and it's usually something pretty lame, but I would like to get something decent this year...no idea what tho, it is August and all.
I am going as an "Umbrella Centurion" from resident evil apocalypse and extinction. The soldiers in all black with the helmets and riot gear and such. I bought the gear about a month back and had patches ordered and sewn on, mine is dead on movie version.
I am doing this since I am entering the halloween costume contest at lemp mansion in STL, It's pretty cool party I went last year. 800 people showed ast year so it was wild lots of girls too, only for 21 and older, $50 tro get in but you get all the alcohol or soda or whatever you can drink, catered food (shrimp, hot dogs, brauts, burgers, chicken, bbq, etc), 3 live bands and dance areas, and a costume contest with some badass prizes.
Lemp mansions pretty cool, its haunted supposedly and is really neat place. I go to that on the 27th and then 31st theres some local aprties ill be debuting at, I'm excited. I love resident evil and think this will be a badass costume
Below are my test photos (tac belt, patches and holster are missing since these were taken upon arrival of most of the stuff, I am also using a under armour turtle neck instead of a cotton one so it matches colors better). Haven't taken new test pics with my missing items yet but it looks even nicer now.

LMAO, thats why I love the lemp party, tons of hot girls dressed in the slutiest things ever, and most of them are drunk HAHAHAHA

to be honest I do the same costume every year. I used to do some special FX makeup back when I was in the movie biz. One year I decided to make use of the holiday to deliver a message. I make myself into an accident victim and wear a blood stained shirt that says "Don't Drink and Drive!". I have had windshield wipers coming out of eye sockets with eyeballs on the end, severed limbs that can pump blood, and glass shards sticking out of my face. My typical MO at costume contests is to go around with a beer in my hand and with a VERY deadpan (playing up the zombie look) expression direct groups of people to read my shirt. I almost always win costume contests this way.

LOL Yeah I do a little airsoft, haven't had time being in the academy, I'm always studying and going to the real range when I'm free.
Costume was pretty easy to make, got a motorcycle helmet with tinted visor, took all the markings off of it, then bought a turtleneck to wear under the hatch riot vest, got some riot gloves, had the elbow and knee pads already as well as the bdu's and boots, then I got a tac belt and holster, added my asp to the mix and my airsoft gun too, sewd on some patches and bam

my lil bro is going as a clone trooper since hes big into star wars, hes 8. my buddy whose going to lemp is gonna enter the contest as a zombie so itll be badass.

Option two needs some explaining. I read (A LOT) and I want to go as a character from one of my favorite series. Her name is Simi, and she is a young Charonte demon. All I need to add to this costume is a set of red and black full-length wings (and by full-length I mean they need to brush the ground behind me, even in my 5-inch boots)
