The engine shown under Bumblebee's hood, when Sam is staring at the chick.

I'm seeing a fuel injection system, with ITBs. Headers that sweep out the inner fender lining. Was this a real motor, or just CGI?

they sold the movie car on ebay and it had some nasty 350 in it.

I saw that auction.. I was wondering if people thought they were going to get some perfect car because it was in a movie.. Move cars are all show, The stunt cars are made for the stunts with a more powerfull engine. Most of the time when the actors are in a car its being towed by a truck with the camera on it. So it really does not "need" a slamin engine.

Did you see the other Transformers movie auctions. The girls watch , that cube thing sold for like 30k or something??? Crazy! They even auctioned the licence plates.. Are they hurting for cash? or is this the new thing after a movie is over? Auction off all the crap we dont want.

I liked that the voice of optimus prime sounded like the cartoon I used to watch when I was a kid. :) Had a flashback to when I had the toys..

LOL, already mentioned but yeah - they found Peter Cullen and brought him back for this! I seriously had a boyhood joygasm when I heard his voice.

Yeah, Ian mentioned it - she babbles on about how it's a double pumper 4 barrel  Also said the 'distributor' was loose, LOL

The normal engines used were GM 330hp crate motors, with ProJection EFI on them.

THAT motor in the picture, has no ProJection system I've ever seen!

They've been doing that for awhile now. The first movie I can remember them having one for was the first Spiderman. Collectors probably cream their pants over them.

I felt like I was 6 again when I saw Transformers in the theater, giddy grin and everything...then I remembered I was much older when I saw that chick lean under the hood...:)
