i was taking more parts off my clip the other day and realized that the head lamps in it were not sealed beam but the lens and some H4 Light bulbs. The odd this is that the Lens's Say Toyota on them and are that Toyota Name Koito, koto or something. Can't remeber now.

Just wondering if it was really OEM for the JDM Supras. Or if the person who had it before me found some other lenses from another Toyota that would work on the Suppie.

I am deffinatly going to use them. Thats for sure

i think they are stock cuz i today was taking off the headlight assembly and they were h4.im keeping them and upgrading to hid's in the summer and the fogs are h3's wich will be hid's also.:naughty:

when i dissasembled my front clip i noticed the same lights. they're nice especially when u use an aftermarket light bulb, but i wonder if the housings are hid compatible.
i also noticed that these housings aim towards the left of the road too, its weird

My stockers on my GA70H are H4 bulbed Koito's. I personally have a RAYBRIG crystal housing conversion with H4 bulbs.

No Halogen housing is HID compatible. Ever. It can be done, but it's never going to be close to a proper HID housing.

RHD housings are not meant to be used in LHD situations. The light angles up towards oncoming traffic. Use LHD housings.

Yes, H4 bulbs were standard on all Japanese Supras, they didn't have sealed beam headlights on theirs.

Here's another thought....they are the same dimensions top to bottom and left to right. How about you mount them upside down...then they point in the right direction?!? :dunno:

I did not know that either.

Can't you just use the adjustment screws to get them more inline with the road and LHD

I'll keep using my seald beams so i don't blind people. Unless you can get them to work. Just though hey. Put's me another step ahead not having to buy some.

I am spending enough cash on my swap and parts
