I bought my supra 50 minutes away from my house.When I bought it was memorial day so no notaries where open.I'm trying to get the guy down here by my house to do the title exhange since he works around here.Sadly i do not know where.We set an appointment for yesterday, only after a 3 days of him not picking up the phone and not getting a straight answer if he can come or not.Finnaly i told him ill give him 20 bucks for the hassle and he agreed we'd meet up yesterday at 7. well 7:30 comes by and he doesnt show up.I call his cell and leave a message never gets back to me.I call his house noone picks up. I called him 4 times today left a message still no reply.

At this point i know the guy is trying to fuck me over.

I know where he lives at, and 2 phone #'s i can reach him at.

I can do the REALLY dumb thing and borrow my dad's .45 and hopefully get him to go to the notary with me :icon_bigg but thats last case scennario.

or

Someone know's a smarter, most efficient way to get this car under my name?

any legal actions i can take?

hmm...now that you say this i need to check whose name the title is in.I know he lives with his parents and i have teh house number.

He gave me the title, we just couldnt exhange it because it was labor day.

Anyways i checked the title and it was in his mom's name so i called the house from a different number and he picked up (figures :nono .Anyway i just asked for her and well when she heard what i told her she was pissed at him lol she sounded like she was ready to rip his balls out lol! so 1 hour later me and the lady meet up at the AAA and exchanged tiltles...She said sorry like 5 times and kept saying how irresponsible he is lol.anyways car is mine legally now so i'm all good.
