I was putting my short throw in and then put all of the plastic pieces back on. connected all the wires...drove around all day, then when night came around, i turned on my lights and then smoke came out from my turn signal knob. then the guage lights, a/c lights, and radio lights dont work...think i shorted something out but i dont know if just replacing the fuse will fix it or if i need to take it somewhere to fix it? any help would be great thanks

the Dimmer pot is toast.... I can remember how i jumped mine.... When i get home I will look or you can check SF, thats where I got the instructions for mine.
I hooked up the wrong Dimmer wire when i hooked up my Stereo and Fried it.

Jump W-G to W-B to by-pass the dimmer.
W-B is the white with black stripe wire which is car body ground. Connect this to the W-G which is the white with green stripe wire that is the - side to your dash lights.
DO NOT jump the green wire to the other 2 as it's a positive 12 volts which is only needed to make the dimmer rheostat work.
