ok so i just pulled apart my dash changed the oil pressure gauge(kg/cm2) switch to PSI( ironic EH i'm canadian, but imperial is WAAAy better)
i have a 86.5 and i was told the TURBO tach was differenet as the 7m-gt tach wont work with the NA_T conversion i'm doing, so i put the turbo tach in, little motivation to do the conversion(and i had it apart who needs rpm when there putin around town) so the turbo tach work fine withe the NA eng/harness... will it work with the turbo harness/ecu???

Lets think about this for a second...a turbo tach comes from the factory in a turbo car. Care to guess what kind of harness/ECU is in that car? ;)

It's the igniter that provides the signal...the harness wiring is the same. The GTE has an igniter firing 3 dual coils...the GT has a coil feeding a distributor. If you would take the time to look at the TSRM/EWD, it would become clear.

Besides, if the GTE comes from the factory with a turbo tach and harness, what could possibly make you think it would not work. :icon_conf
