GTE Swap in Calgary...Any Helpers????

Hey guys,

I dont have the room, nor do I have the tools to do my auto na to 5spd GTE swap since I just moved here. I was wondering if anyone would like to help me with this sometime in the new year. Ive found a few engines and trannies online, but if someone had a few good ones in the city then, I'll be glad to purchase it from you/them.

Basically:

Who has an extra GTE engine and r154 trans laying around. Parts assocciated with swap would be helpful to

Who want to help with the swap once i get all parts in my hands.

i could be wrong, but i do know that there is few up there i believe a lot ive seen being 1jz powered.

there are a couple engine importers here, www.beyond.ca is a decent forum for local resources. jeff lange i think has lived here most his life im quite sure. there are several of us in the city, im sure someone with empty garage space could help you out.

Born here, raised here. Beyond.ca has some decent local classifieds. The other places to check out are jdmsource.ca and worldcarlink.com, I know both of those guys can get JDM engines.

I'll see if I can find some more info on where to get an engine at work tomorrow too, I know occasionally we try to source some used stuff.

Jeff, I wasnt aware that you were at Stampede Toyota. Thats soo lcose to my office. on 25th Av. NE. IN the new year we should meet up and go for lunch somewhere. You dont happen o drive an IS300 do you. My friend here knows someone who works at Stampede Toyota who drives one.
