I can't view egay at work but if it's what I think it is (knock off T70 with a 1.15 hot side) I wouldn't bother unless you want no boost below 4000 rpm

alot of people use those manifolds, so they will fit. you will have to fab the IC piping as well, their kit isnt cut to fit.

edit:

here is a pic for those who cannot see-

imageTemplate.html

judging by how much is machined out of the inlet, that does not look like a very big compressor wheel. they list it at 600hp max, but that doesnt mean much. looks to be maybe around a 57mm wheel. kinda hard to tell from the pics the exact size, or from their description of "64.5 SHAFT& WHEEL TRIM"

crap, i hit the reply instead of edit, sorry

To put it into perspective for you. I have a 2005 GTO with a 6.0L LS2 that is going to run a single GT-70 STS kit. So I have double the displacement for the same turbo. I would expect it to be laggy as hell on a Supra. If it's a good deal you can try it and if it sucks then just sell it.

see i dont think so. this turbo isnt anywhere near a 70mm. its a fairly small turbo from what i can see. i wouldnt expect much lag at all.

what i would do is message the seller and see if you can get the compressor wheel inducer and exducer size.

edit:

this is an actual t70 70mm turbo. see how much bigger the wheel is in relation to the housing? and also you can see a lot more of the inlet was machined to fit the wheel.

I don't get it- this is a .68 A/R hot side. I would expect it to boost fairly quickly. Heck I might even think you'd want a .7-.8 A/R for more top end.

hmmmmmmmm, i thought i had a more direct shot where it looks smaller, but i can't find it on my computer, but here it is compared to a to4r, also in a 4" houseing (this is a 67mm compressor wheel)

basically this kit is a load of junk then? wot sort of power would i be able 2 get out of a my stardard turbo?(once reconditioned) i spoke to a turbo specialist who said i should be able to run up 16 psi on my standard turbo as long as i get a bigger intercooler. wot sort of power could i exect at 16psi with a hks intake, hks bov, 3'' straight through exhaust de-catted(both cat's) A FCD, uprated fuel pressure regulater. of is this to much on standar internals?

there are a lot of threads about this, first off, DONT try running 16 pounds on your stock turbo. The turbo is efficient to around 13 pounds. The stock intercooler isn't actually all that bad. It cools well, but creates excessive back pressure. there are many upgrades that you need to address before turning the boost up to even 13 psi though. get a lexus afm, and 550cc injectors and a 57 trim turbo upgrade. Then you're good for 16psi and with supporting mods can be up to 400rwhp. thats a little more rare for those numbers, but its been done. most likely with those generic upgrades you can expect 350+ rwhp and instant spool. enough to kill vettes!
