THIS HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A SCAM...DO NOT SIGN UP.
SCAM NOT FROM TURKISH THOUGH
This was posted over on sf but I figured we could all benefit from it too. If you use Paypal you know they charge the seller 3.9% for credit card payments well Greenzap charges a flat fee of 1 dollar for each payment. They also PAY you 25 dollars just for signing up and they pay you 5 dollars for each person you refer :naughty: We know how shitty paypal is for seller protection and what not, I am sure this Greenzap is going to be much better and it is really going to take off. If this is against any rules delete it, and sorry in advance.

GREENZAP REACHES A GLOBAL AUDIENCE
Tuesday April 19, 10:17 pm ET
La Jolla, California, April 28, 2005 - GreenZap, Inc., a consumer-based online buying and spending account service, reaches a global audience in over 125 countries from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Sweden and China, to Australia, Netherlands, Singapore, Brazil, Trinidad, and Fiji.
GreenZap openly promotes itself as a low-cost, alternative to eBay's® payment processor, PayPal®, who reportedly services an online community of over 63 million users. GreenZap launched its website and competitive marketing message with a pre-registration phase on April 2, 2005 and within one week, site traffic literally went through the roof. A GreenZap spokesperson said, "Due to an enormous amount of traffic, the GreenZap site was temporarily down due to server overload. We worked with Dell® and Cisco® and quickly reinstated the site with a top-of-the-line system capable of handling global traffic."
GreenZap anticipates capturing a large percentage of the existing online spending community, but sees its brand and messaging appealing to a new generation of online spenders.
GreenZap is continuing to accept pre-registrations and is rewarding consumers with $25 in their account for signing up. The account is free and there are no set-up charges. GreenZap is launching summer 2005.
