IGNORE TITLE IF IT STILL SAYS GREDDY, IT IS A BLITZ .. i just got off a night shift 11pm-7am and i usually dont work these lol so bear with me.

My turbo timer has officially become useless. It doesnt do what it should be doing anymore. When i turn off my ignition the car will just shut off... this aint good for the turbos. It just stopped working all of a sudden outta nowhere. It still lights up and gives proper readings etc. I dont know how it just stopped working all of a sudden, nor do i know where to start looking for answers. Sometimes when i turn off my ignition it'll still countdown but the car motor shuts off and the cars fan/dash lights etc will be on. I dont have instructions at all as it came with my car. So if anyone knows anything about BLITZ fully automatic turbo timers please help me out if you can. THere are things on there that i know no idea what they mean I.E [A] or L (on the display). I'd really like to get it up and running again as i dont want to have my turbos go on me quicker than expected. Just another question also. Letting the car run at idle for 20-25ish seconds before i shut it off should suffice in the meantime until i get the timer fixed right?

Here is what it looks like:

-Thanks in advance

It will probably be in the wire that runs to your e-brake. While the guy was installing mine, we had the same type problem until he got that mounted correctly. I'm electrically challenged, but noone works on my car without me by their side.

As long as you aren't boosting hard for a couple minutes before you park it you really don't need to leave it running.

For the problem: it sounds like a wire came loose. But if you check all the connections and it still doesn't work then I suppose it's time for a new one.

I usually give it 30 secs if i have driven much at all.....boost or not, just to be safe. 2-3 minutes if driving hard.

I would start checking wires near the e-brake bolts. Then, I would check near the Timer itself. I would imagine the wires are bent pretty hard there, because of the way it is sitting, and the space between there and the floor is not much.

BTW........That TT looks awesome in that spot!

Good to know, now i got some places to look thanks. I figure it must be something to do with the wiring cause it does still do the normal countdown, but like i said the engine shuts off and the fan etc will still run. almost like you have the iginition turned to II but not running the engine.
