greddy turbo timer

I have a greddy turbo timer on my car and it has gone on the fritz! i will shut the car off and it will appear that the timer has turned its self off (no display)but it will turn the car back on like if the key was turned to start without cranking over the car.

Has anyone else had this problem, if so can it be fixed or should i just go with a new timer(what kind)?
