Greddy Turbo Timer help

Just hook up the e-brake wire. Its not hard to do and it could come in handy.

Hey I just got a Greddy Full Auto Turbo Timer with the harness for my car. Its in japanese which I cannot speak let a lone read. If I'm not mistaken, you just plug it into the ignition area (not sure where 100%, but i haven't opened it yet) and then run a wire to the e-brake. If anyone else has this timer and could help me out that would be greatt...thanks in advance

yea i think its similar to the hks...use the harness and u'll have 2 or 3 extra wires from the unit. One is ground, one is ebrake and the other is optional rpm.

The ground wire is part of the harness. There is a plug that has 2 wires (purple and brown) and that plugs into the turbo timers wiring. Also from the Timer's wiring there is a grey wire with a connector on it. Is the grey the ebrake and the brown and purple RPM??

If I remember correctly, one of those wires is for tapping into the speed sensor wire, so if someone jumps into your car and is turbo timer savvey and knows not to fully release the e-brake, once it starts to move, it will shut the motor off. I have the greddy tt and utilized this feature, works real well.

Don't quote me, but I think the wire for the speed sensor is purple.

if you have the harness you dont even need to hook anything up to get it to work, ones an optional digital speedometer which only reads in KM's no MPH, because i have it hooked up in my car, and the brown is for ebrake like which you dont even need to hook up anyway, it says it wont work with out it but, it indeed does, and the older harness's do have an external ground that you have to ground, because i had to on mine
