I recently just had my stock bov hooked up and every time I boosted you'd hear a fluttering noise well I figure its the bov so I hook up the greddy type s unit in hopes it would fix the problem, it doesn't. Does the greddy type s make a fluttering noise or is it surge. I even put the spring on its sofest setting.

ic pipe - bead end, and get a t-bolt clmap.

and try tightening the bov spring, running a shorter more direct line if you have a long one on there, and if tightening the spring doesnt work, then loosen it...

A good friend of mine bought a used BOV that was sitting on the shelf for a while, come to find out same problems, you could blatently hear the compressor surge. The physical valve inside has got stuck(lack of lube I guess), he tore it down and carb cleaned and wd-40'd everything. That would be a good start for you. Matter of fact I will be doing the same thing to my greddy type s, its starting to surge on me(popped a cooler hose off myself but I am pretty sure I didnt get it tight enough). GL sir.
