GReddy MHG Users Question?

I have on order a 2.0MM GReddy MHG and through searching ive heard that there is not Viton coating on these headgaskets. Is it okay to install dry and should I? Or should I spray some copper sealent on it and then install? Just want to know before I do anything.

From what I found in the threads of people who used them stating that they were. Is there a way to tell? Reason im asking is they look black like every other MHG out there, so i thought there was a coating on it. Among the threads i found they were talking of using brake quiet on the gasket and copper sealent paste.

The black is the viton.

As for brake quiet/copper spray/etc there are threads discussing it- iirc, all of them eat away the viton and weaken the entire gasket. (don't quote me on that)

hmm dont look the same so i guess there is viton on the gasket.

K that answers my question, so basically if it looks nothing like that just install the gasket dry. Gotcha, and man IJ youve got pictures for everything. Ever thought about writing a 7M Encyclopedia and publishing it?

greddy's are coated installed them before do not use copper spray

and if it is not coated send it back


ps greddy makes the best fitting head gaskets to bad they never made a stopper like hks

and there harder to get
