I installed a Greddy 52mm electronic boost guage and it will not work. It is wired properly and lights up when supposed to. Upon start up guage will do a full sweep but isn't reading the manifold vacuum or positive vacuum. Is my vacuum source to weak..? Any ideas? Thanks....:1zhelp:

that source should be fine, thats what i always use, just make sure its SEALED. You dont want a boost leak on the FPR.

but isnt the greddy hooked up to a little black thing to read the boost? you said its electric... so im assuming its a full electric gauge. how wires come off the back of the greddy gauge?

The presser sensor is plug in to the gauge and the vacuum line is plunged in to the sensor. When I first start the supra the gauge dose a full sweep then gos back down to nothing.

This is the dash plug that I use to get the power leads and ground from, then I use the dimer switch for lighting lead.

I also tried changing the ground to a bolt and still nothing.

The Greddy 52mm gauges don't have a box, the power harness just plugs in to the boost gauge itself. The sending unit plugs in to the back of the gauge as well.

Your sure the vacuum line isn't cut anywhere? Where did you put the hose through into the engine bay? Is it protected by a gromet? Could it have gotten cut possibly? Just throwing out some ideas, hope they help.

put the car in the on position or whatever turns the gauge on, then put an air compressor to the sending unit... if it doesnt read, then you have a bad sending unit. or you need to double check the hosing...

and theres no hosing that goes inside due to it being an electric gauge...
