its just really here to hold you over until the full version, there will be updates with damage modeling, new cars tracks, etc until gt5 is released next year. It is kind of expensive, but I dont think its that bad.

If you do not have a g25 wheel..... GET ONE.
FF and 6 speed shifter enhaces every inch of the track... i love it, almost as good as the real thing except I won't get a ticket.

whats funny is that I d/l the demo of the demo of the demo (what was it GT HD or somthing like that?) like 8 months ago with a japenese account... the only thing that has really changed is more tracks, cars, and online mode. I think GT5 will evolve into a very good next gen sim, maybe not the very best but its up there. GTR2 was damn good and it was years ahead of GT5P.

Well, PSN is flooded with people DLing GT5P, Metal Gear Online Beta, and tons of new PSN stuff.
I'm just waiting for the crash damage update

I purchased GT5P and it's not really a demo or a full game, it's in between. I played the game and man it's amazing, the cockpit view makes this game. I played online and it's damn fun to play and pretty addicting. Online sometimes lags a bit and the cars act all funny on the track, but other than that it's very, very good.

I herd theres alot of weird stuff in the game that just makes it frustrating and not Real.
If you go into the grass or bump a wall you get a 5 second penalty where you cant accelerate? On the harder difficulty they just move you to the rear of the field, no qualify lap to get placement? Putting you at the back of the field makes no sense to me, thats not realism and puts you at such a disadvantage Vs. a qualify lap.

I CAN NOT wait for the full game to come out. I dont have a ps3 but my friend does and i will be living at his house for MONTHS when that game comes out. 6speed and clutch are FTMFW. I watched a demo on youtube and almost exploded in my pants..Looks sooo easy to drift..clutch kicking initial D is ftw.
I had to buy it, my G25 wheel was getting dusty......and I am not dissapointed because I had low expectaions for prologue. wheel/ pedals/ shifter made it worth it for me, it is a blast. But the crash physics still really suck ass, hopefully an update will fix this.
GTR has awesome crash physics, GT5 should at least meet that.....

I like this game a lot... online pisses me off though. The amount of bumping going on is INSANE! Daytona is the worst freaking place... I'll be in first or second by the end of the first lap and then some douchebag will get right beside me and just drive me into the wall every freaking time
