Just curious if anybody knows much about s2k's... this guy I know is a big honda boy well he always had civics and crap I even ownd in my NA supra ( lol) Now he got ran over on his bike and got enough money to buy a s2k and he has a grudge against me wanting to race for money and all this and that.

He has intake and exaust thats it.

I really think I can beat him but I dono cause of the weight of his car and what not.

His stock HP is 240, and stock torque is 160..

My stock HP is 240 and Stock TQ is 280, Now I have a few mods and ive dynod at 287 HP and 324 torque (with 110 octain) but my car with me in it and sound system would push me around 3400 pounds or so, and Ill only be running on 93 octain. and dont have the greatest tires for launching.. all I do is spin lol.

Does anybody know much about those s2k's and why people concider them to be so fast? if so id like some info if I goto the Gtp Forums all I need is bisaed info same with the honda s2k forums..

Lemme know!

The S2000 is light and semi-powerful, in a straight line is is pretty quick, but it's speed is best found around a track. You'll probably win in a straight line, but who knows, give it a go.

I was up at the mountain and ran across one, needles to say that was the only Honda I have lost to at that spot. The entry speed is NUTS!!! If it is a strait race you should be able to take em.

i dunno s2000's are preaty light and have decent power, i think its a drivers race.

Not really. If it's from a stop, the Supra will win.
My car is about the same weight as a stook, but with 100 less horsepower, and stock vs. stock, my Spyder will kick a stook's ass from a stop 'til about the top of third gear.

Uh... from a roll? No, do it from a stop. Stooks have less torque than a sewing machine.

unless its a singer, if its a singer sewing machine you better watch the hell out!

Horsepower: 240 hp
Torque: 162 ft-lbs
Curb Weight: 2835 lbs.

I dont know thats almost 2000 pounds lighter lawl. I really think it would be closer than you would expect. especially if theres a turn he is going to go much faster than you lol.

Uh..2000?

It's not a drivers race...nor should it be close if the car is driven properly at all
How many mk3 owners actually know how to launch their car...very few

I think an MR2 Spyder is about 750lbs lighter than an S2000.
