Gotta love those customers!

I work at a Toyota Dealer and a lot of the complaints we get from customers are just downright funny, but then again some of the problems they actually have are equally as entertaining!

Take this one: Today we get a 01 Camry towed in because the engine is redlining as soon as you start it. There were issues with cruise control units and cables binding so I checked that first, but they were OK. The throttle is being help open by something... and this is what I found:

Tried to sell an air filter to them but they said our $21 filters were too expensive and they would be back from Wal-mart in 15 minutes with their own. They returned ~25 minutes later and bought a Toyota filter

I love those customers! Makes me laugh every time

LOL! Yeah.. love em in Aftermarket Land as well... There was chicken plucker pulley guy, Carb guy, Wheel weight vibration girl, and the always popular You-sold-me-the-wrong-parts-for-a-vehicle-I-wouldn't-give-you-correct-information-on-guy. No sir... a Chevy Astro van and a Ford Ranger ain't the same shit. We get 'em alllllll the time. Nice Pic Steve!

The bigger question is: Is that enough fiber for the diet of a Camry?

not the worst ingestion of stuff into an engine, but ya that is definitely not gonna be good for the engine. i could sell them the air filter i accidentally bought for the celica though... it is to big for my airbox and designed for theirs.....brand new in a toyota box!!!

I agrre IJ, i work in tech support, and i get handfulls af em everynight. THats funny about the chipmunk too. I wonder how it got in the airbox in the first place?

Oh, those small woodland animals will crawl into any tight little spot they can. It's even better when they get stuck in the blower motor and go for the last tilt-a-whirl ride of their lives :/
