Its a white package 1992 with factory sunroof :naughty:. It's late and dark, so I wont have pictures until morning. I will be transfering the 5 speed and 2J from the red project to the 92. I will also be removing the blue interior and replacing it with the grey interior from the 89. I have big plans for this car..... I'm so stoked.


Here are some pics. The morning sun is very bright so the pictures are not very good.

I got it for $1800. It's a NA auto, but I was looking for a clean body only. Everything off of my other car will be going onto this one as far as drivetrain is concerned. Here is my build thread that will be migrated to the 1992.

Piece of crap 7MGE let go on me on I-95 on the way home. Had to go back and pick her up on a trailer. I was hoping it would make it home but I knew it was risky considering the car had a can of "engine leak stop" behind the seat. It also had very fresh water in the radiator. Sellers were trying to play it off like there was nothing wrong with it. Dishonest people for sure. It would have been sad if this would have been a kid who bought it with hopes of driving it. I am happy with the purchase price.

It made it about an hour down the interstate when the oil pressure and temp needles went in opposite directions....lol

Blew oil and coolent eveywhere. Spun an bearing an let go of a rod :)

Oh well, she is home and ready for a full makeover.

Yeah, I saw it on Craigslist and made arrangements for it the same day. It needs paint because it looks like the original paint. Interior is a little ruff but I have mint grey interior from my 89. All my interior is at the shop getting done now. It will have newly covered TTR seats with matching rears. They are black outer with charcoal grey inserts with the recaro embroidered in black. Door and rear panels are redone in black. I think it will look really nice with a new pearl white paint job.

I also have black rims with a nice fat polished lip. 18x10 and 18 X 8.5. I will also be putting the turbo spoiler on it. Should be really nice when done.

If anyone is looking for the 6.5 blue door panels with pods, PM me. They are really clean with the exeption of the material insert in the middle which you can swap from yours. Hard to find for sure, but they won't be cheap either :)
