That smoke is oil. That oil is going out your exhaust instead of staying in the motor doing it's job.

What do you think?

I had the exact thing happen, my seals were bad from day 1 with my clip. I watched oil consumption and oddly enough I only had to add about half a quart every 3000 miles which was all i drove my car even though i had alot fo smoke at idle. Just be mindful and save your money. 935 has reasonable turbo kits. Good luck man.

yea man when theres a nice breeze its like a line of thin smoke all the way across the road LOL

If you are sure the turbo is blown, do the following:

Wire the wastegate wide open.

Disconnect the oil feed line and cap the port at the block.

No smoke, no boost, no problem.

That's interesting...now you will be 1JZ-GE...with no turbo. Hey if the engine still runs without it and no problem, why not ! this way you can still drive the car till money becomes available for your next turbo.

The car will perform like a Volvo 740, but it will run fine.

the seal is leaking, the turbo isn't dead.. just ride it out.. its not too bad, just check the oil...

we'll try one of mine, maybe one of those is good, lol..

I have a question.. reading Jdubs post in the oil section.. maybe get some of that oil that has extra ester in it to swell the seal and maybe help it seal up a little more?

Ester makes seals swell and counteracts the effect of the PAO.
