our 90T's shocks are worn out I'm pretty sure. 90K original miles and so are they. and when you go over bumps they don't seem to do anything at all and you bounce around pretty good for a while. Our car is not lowered, nor will it be. just looking for a good all around shock. I've been thinking about maybe... Bilsteins, Edelbrock IAS's.... any input? thanks.

i've got koni yellows. they're $100 a piece, and adjustable (only while off the car though :() regardless, they're a huge step up from stock, and on the full soft setting, it's stiffer than stock, but not TOO stiff. i've got mine full firm front, full soft rear. it's a decent combo. too bad i hate my eibachs and i'm going to get rid of them as soon as possible...

My next shock will be a Bilstein, its not dampening adjustable but with a proper spring that should not be too much of a problem.

However, I would reccomend you stay far far away from 935motorsports.com

right now i have monroe sensa track on the front and stock tems for the rear. ive consider going sensatrack all around since the front grabs so good. but the price between monroe and kyb? ive have looked at kyb and have been thinking about going that route? any opinions?

ok, i'm thinking more along the lines of Monroe Sensatracs all around or Bilsteins all around. we sell Sensatracs at work, so I get a discount... our 90T is just a daily driver for my girlfriend. It rides like poop with the wore out stock shocks. I think they're actually blown.... leaking. not sure though... didn't pay to much attention to them yet. I completely forgot about monroe sensatracs... they're a nitrogen gas charged mono tube shock. IN the "toyota 4x4 world"... polyperformance BBC's or Bilstiens are a VERY popular good choice. but I have heard a lot of guys that are more "stockish" (ie 3" suspension lifts... 33" tires type deal) running monroes and really liking them. I guess I'll get a price on both the bilsteins and monroe's and go from there. Thanks guys.

WHAT IS TEMS? I've never heard of it.

What does it exactly do? is it good, bad? Is it on all 4 corner? HOw do I tell if I have it or not? I could use the lowdown on this TEMS.

Why are KYB's cheaper than Monroe sensatracs? any idea which would be a better shock?

It was an option. Look on the center console, if there are buttons that say "normal" and "sport" you have TEMS. It is pretty neat but, harder to find replacement shocks for. You can use non-TEMS shocks on a TEMS car though, it just deletes the option.

ok, we don't have it. I guess it's kinda like an adjustable setting. soft and stiff. i think some C4 corvettes came with an option like that, but my 89 didn't. I had KYB's on my Vette.. and it was STIFF. that's why i'm leaning toward monroe's.
