good knock numbers, and coolant temp question

i know on the DSM's the factory tempature sensor tells the ECU to eventually go run on a secondary fuel map when it hits a certain tempature, and when disconected the Check Engine Light comes on, on the supra it doesnt? does it do the same thing? and as for knock numbers, what are good knock numbers for the supra? on the AFC II
