Are there any good 3 inch exhausts that wouldn't be too loud on an N/A? aka not an RSR GT2 Exhaust. :)

Hks sport , hks dragger and the tanabe come to mind .

( edit : damn yall post fast . )

The hks sport is the one that looks like stock , dragger is a big shiney can ( but it still looks good imo )

Your only way out is custom then. Unless some one is super smart. Well I know of some cool ones but they will be almost a grand haha.

I thought the hks sport was 2.75 and the dragger was a little over 3 inch .

Whats the big deal anyway ?

There is no "big deal". I just want a 3 inch exhaust that won't be ridiculously loud as N/A, because I'm doing this in preparation for going turbo.

I figgured you where going turbo thats why i was asking . But , I remember reading a thread before i bought my hks sport over on supraforums . He tried a custom exhaust and basicly tried every resonator on the market and still wasn't happy with the drone . Then he said f it and just got the hks sport .... and was very happy .

I'm just saying custom could be a bit of a headach when looking for a certain sound , at least from what i've read

I'm turbo - but the Tanabe is great - super quiet at idle and sounds phenomenal when you get some revs going. oh - it looks great too.

Before I swapped my 1jz, I put a custom exhaust on my supra that was made with a 5zigen muffler and a resonator. It didn't drone or anything. IMO the best exhaust is a custom piece because you can build it to what you want.

The HKS Turbo exhaust is 75mm (~2.95 inch). I have it and it is a great exhaust. It is near stock sound level, but with a deeper tone to it. Just driving around it's nice and quiet (you can hear the deep tone when you hit the gas) but will wake up if you are going up a hill or stomp on it.

I have a sound clip of it revving if you have any interested in that, but not any drive by sounds or anything like that. But like I said, it's got a nice deep rumble to it at near stock sound level.
