Going to Minnesota for a week!

Like the title says, I'm going to be up in Minnesota for about a week. Going up to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

What all is there to do in that area? And also in the surrounding areas? I was thinking about maybe heading up to SupraSport one day, possibly Mall of America another.

What suggestions do you folks have for me as far as activities and dining establishments go?

Unfortunately I won't have my Supra :cry:

Don't do Mall of America unless you're really into shopping.

Stillwater, the town where SupraSport is located, is a pretty little town, worth checking out. (also my home town) There are also a gaggle of Supras (and Supra owners) in St. Cloud, but that' sort of the opposite direction of where you're going.

I'll be there tomorrow (Monday) through either Thursday or next Sunday, depending on what the docs need to do.

I'll have to do that. You're shop is one of the places I definitely want to go to. I'll drag my folks with if I have to (only taking one vehicle up there unforunately). Maybe I could drop my ma off with my cousins for a bit that day haha :biglaugh:

Just lmk...we are always running around doing things...visitors are always welcome. We do go out on the St. croix river on weekends in Gregs 43' Scarab so if your here on sat you'll just have to jump on...we are not a "normal" shop...we have fun

ummm....we actually built our shop on our property so we are here 24 hours a day. We got sick of paying rent so we built a building and moved our tool and die shop and Suprasport onto our property. We have 60 acres of land so it wasn;t hard to do. PM me and I will give you my cell. Thats the easiest way to get a hold of me directly, otherwise leave a message on th e651-439-3625 and I will call you back.

Like I said we play alot during the summer so we are out playing in cars or boats alot during the summer

Wow. Yeah I'll possibly be at Mayo until 6 (when the close), according to my neighbor's experience with them. So my free time would be after 6 for sure. It would take about 2 hours to drive up to Stillwater from Rochester, so it would be a late night unfortunately. Hopefully one of the days doesn't take too long at the clinic, though.

Well, I just got to my hotel in Rochester about 20 minutes ago. 6 hour drive from my place in Illinois. Man am I tired...

Thanks Jack! That sounds like a good plan! I don't know what type of meal restrictions the clinic is going to give me for certain days, I'll find all of that out tomorrow. So once I find out the weekly schedule tomorrow, I'll be able to plan my activities.

I'll probably be making a purchase (or two) when I come visit :naughty:
