Going Haltech E11V2

I have on order the Haltech E11v2 and will be using Ls-2 coils to fire the engine I have a tuner minutes away that has one installed on the 7m. Who has wired one and how long did it take.

V500 Wolf has a great feature set and is up to date electronics wise at a good price!

Haltech rocks.... i havent worked with it a lot, but it is super basic and easy to use... it will do everything you need it to and more, sure there are nicer systems but haltech gets the job done well, and everyone i know using them loves it

I am referring to a novice who has never done it before. Not a person who always does it. Trying not to sound like a dick but ....you are. I know a few people here who are running that unit, and installed it themselves. That Wolf v500 looks good Ian.:biglaugh:

Nothing wrong with the Haltech other than it's getting a bit old tech wise and doesn't have a few features I really need.

QWIKSTRIKE, any reason you passed on the AEM? I am exploring standalones as well, just wondering.

Yeah, AEM is VERY flexible, and best of all, plugs right in.

Had forgotten about the AEM as it's not a viable alternative here due to import duties....

Haltec is for if I decide to go 2j no resale is necessary, and I get to set it up in closed loop and sequential firing. I get a new wire harness, and ECU all for one price of 1510.00 delivered. For an Aem I need a new harness 380.00+AEM 1500.00 delivered, and AEM not able to do closed looped maps,and regular 7m coils may need cdi at higher boost. I got a haltec for1510 shippped with new wire harness, and ls2 coils which are hotter than msd ls1 blaster coils for 275.00 with the wire harness, and spark plug wires which elimiantes the need for a cdi or dumb igniter.
