I've gotta SAFC-II here, greddy EBC, and a FCD (OMG RUN!) engine is ARP'd with new head gasket at alot ft/lbs. otherwise it's pretty much stock. Should I "tune" it (I, as in have them) and what should I tune it too? I have no fuel mods (stock injectors/pump/regulator)

if you have no other mods....ie...exhaust, intake, etc....tuning will give you very little gain....turning up the boost will not be as effective because there is no where for the the exhaust to go efficiently..

Turbo'd cars already make a lot of back pressure on stock pipes; turning up the boost will only create more back pressure and very little HP gains

guess I shoulda mentioned 3" T back. My only concern is fuel... will I be maxing out the injectors if I go to 15 psi?
probobly....if you had a fuel pump and fpr you can get more out of them....400hp is the most ive seen. You run the risk of running lean without a wideband to monitor your settings after the tune because the fuel pump may not be able to last long at that high of boost

AEM WBo2, MAF-T(pro), 550's, and an AFPR.

sidenote: Damn you, robbo ;)
I was staring at your avatar for so long, my vision blurred... but then there were two of them dancing, and I watched it for even longer... :icon_razz

ok, maybe I'm comming across wrong, I HAVE a FCD and SAFC-II What other mods (besides 3"dp) would I need to keep from detonating? I (someone else) will be tuning this on a dyno.

These guys already covered it man

if i were you i'd ditch the FCD,
and to prevent detonation: larger fuel pump, and injectors,

also wideband for obvious reasons, and maft pro!

no FPR? why would I NEED a maft pro if I'm runnin a safc-II? Why would I need a wideband if I'm having her tuned on a dyno? I need 550 injectors? 440's won't work if I'm only running stock turbo?

MAF-T Pro + SAFCII. They work in conjunction with each other as the SAFCII has more correction points you can set.
Yes MAF-T (pro not absolutely necessary)
Yes SAFCII
Yes Fuel pump
Yes 550's
No FCD
Yes AFPR with Install kit
Yes WBo2

do you want us to install it?

I'm not trying to be a dick, but listen, search, learn.

Disclaimer: I am an enthusiast, not a mechanic. These statements are only opinions.

Basic formula for fuel supply (to give a rough idea of capacity):
Horsepower=Flow * 0.1902
At 100% duty, you should have enough fuel for 500 crank horsepower with stock injectors. Of course you shouldn't run static, but you get the idea. I'm thinking a fuel pressure gauge (for peace of mind) and a good tune with the wideband at the dyno would be worthwhile. Do you have anyway to monitor EGT? That's going to be one of the determining factors as to how much boost you can run too. Good luck and post some results when you get back!
