Finally got the 7m dropped in the Supra and its pretty much just sitting in the engine bay not bolted in yet. It has no manifolds on it yet, just all the pumps on the front. Im getting ready to put it all together and was just wondering if any of you had any suggestions on what to look out for or anything I should know as I go through the process. Ive never done this before so I just wanted to make sure I do it all right and any help would be awesome. Thanks a bunch guys, you've all been a huge help so far. Ill get pics posted ASAP.

Make sure the hoses are plugged in at the back of the head ie, the one going to the firewall and such, as it might be easier to reach now while things are still off the engine.

i'd have completely assembled the motor before installation. the only thing i did to put in/pull my motor, was disconnect all the wires/hoses, etc... i left the motor whole, both when i pulled it, and put it back in. it's way easier to assemble stuff with the motor out of the car. a bit late for that now.

work from the hardest stuff to the easiest stuff. you dont want the last thing you do to be something tough. you wanna do something nice and simple, then CHECK ALL YOUR FLUIDS, then start it up.

Shaeff: I find it easier to leave the turbo assy off so you reach the engine mounts.

Also, there is a little two prong plug comming off the top of the manual tranny.... make sure you plug that it BEFORE dropping the engine all the way in.

Last, there are a set of wires (paired two and two, total of 4) brown and white. These are ground wires and MUST BE hooked up for your car to start. Very common "why won't my car start" problem.
