Getting at the ECU

I find myself needing to do a knock sensor rewire (code 52). Have gotten
the wire and am willing to remove the intake manifold to get at the knock sensors.
How hard is it to get to the ECU (to run the new knock sensor wire) the TRSM is not clear on this. Thanks for your tips.

The ECU is above the Glove box. Just remove it. From mem there is two screws inside and four around the edge. Then a few bits of plastic covers behind it. 5 min job.

Sounds right to me - there might be a few more screws, it's been a couple months since I pulled this last, but it seriously is only a few minutes.
