OK, Im leaving here in a few hours to pick up an 89 turbo. Sold my 86.5 NA. Ive never owned a turbo in my life, and while Im completely familiar with the concept and alot of the terminology, I am a complete noob when it comes to hardware.
so, if you wouldnt mind getting me up to speed on turbo tech, maybe someone can explain a few things.
First of all can somone explain the differences between different models of ct-26 and what are the stock numbers and possible upgrades for the CT-26. When I see numbers like .57 and .60 what is that refering to, and is this "trim"? (I know, noob alert!) I would also like to know what other turbo models will bolt up to the stock manifold and also what other turbo are available with a manifold upgrade. Dont bother naming em all, I would just like to know more about the most common and least expensive.
Im sure I have more questions, but lets start simple for now. If you think you know something about turbos and like to talk here is your chance. Feel free to expound upon me your vast turbo intellect. School me in the ways of forced induction so that I may learn properly. Mold me in your image!
Well ok, just hit me with some facts then!
