I bought A new 7mgte (88') its all stock except the muffler (BLITZ), S-afc2(Apexi). The Qs is i found this Black box by Greddy, and have no idea what it is, its about 4-5 in rectagular, and has an in & out hose routing to my stock ct-26, any iea what it is? PLease Help!

When i bought the car the safc2 was aleady installed should i remove till i have more HP, or go have it tuned, to make sure its set right. And if its better to remove, How would i go about doing it safely, and will the main ecu be affected?
Q-3 Im trying to find out if the motor in here is the stock or jdm, because i think its new but cant find the Engine VIn#. (IS there one on the block?) or how would i find out?
