Well my last thread was full of clutters and useless ideas(well not totally useless)..so i made a new one...Well anyway, Im Steve, im 17...I work in a warehouse to support all my car obsessions...

well here is my 87 Ge....i got her with 58k on her and not running...After a basic tune up and some TLC she worked! And has been my DD for the better part of the year, until I got a small knock(dont know what did it)...Well that gave me the motivation to get a new engine...I wanted to go 1jz, but i wanted to keep my supra with a 7M so I went to look for one...Well i found a 89 Turbo in my color, and i picked it up for 1200...The guy said the fuel pump was bad, but i had my hunches...with some new gas and a tune up she started up fine...not one tick or rattle from the engine...So i decided that my car (87) is in better condition so i will be putting the GTE into my 87...well ill let the pictures do the talking...

This is my 87, its in ok condition body wise...

I re-did the timing, and most of it is cleaned up right now but i just wanted to show you the engine

This is how my interior looks as of a week or 2 ago

Im talking to a fellow SM guy about trading my gray harness for his yellow, so as soon as I get that settled, the swap starts at my Auto shop at school...there will be plenty of pictures

I'll be watching this... I want to do a GTE swap in my '90. I figure I could spend another 1500 and still have a weak N/A or spend ~2 grand and have a healthy rebuilt turbo motor.

word, the car actually takes good pictures, its not that great...and there was a hit and run on the driver side door, so that has a few scratches in it now...

nice project. i did my gte swap the beginning of the summer. didnt last too long due to the fact that i found out the motor i bought was shot and bhg shortly after and warped the head, but man oh man boost is fun lolz. Im looking for a rebuilt 7m now or one from a reputable store. Good luck with your build.

Looks like u got plenty of help. Good luck on your build.

with as much help they give, they give me 2 times more problems, with either miss placing things or breaking bolts...
