After a motor swap, got everything hooked up and car starts and runs like a champ. Only problem is the only things that work on my cluster are the tach and gas gauge. I get readings from nothing else and I am thowing a code 11 engine light. The cluster worked just fine prior to engine swap. Any insight on what could be the cause of this or any troubleshooting tips. Any and all help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

what did you swap from/to?

also the years of the engine, harness and the model year..

could be loose/unplugged connectors or blown fuses..

the speedo should work since it's mechanically driven, so if that's not working it's probably unplugged...

I just swapped blocks. still 7MGTE, had a thrown rod bearing so got a new block with only 30,000 miles on it. everything is 89. thanks for reminding me about the speedo, im going to take out the cluster today and check that its connected. After major maintenance its always the small shit you look over, tend to see to far into it. Im going to check the cluster fuse in the engine bay and ensure everything is properly connected. Thanks again man. Ill let you know how it goes
