Gather up a few things, Need INFO PLEASE

Im currently shopping for some 1JZ parts so i can commence on the swap. I what parts are needed, however im stumped on a few things.

I found a 1jz engine complet ewith auto trans for $900. It includes turbo and everything else, except ignitor and has a cut harness.

Now I want to stay auto so here are my q's.

Is the 1jz auto trans a direct replacement?

Im currently NA, do i have to buy a turbo auto DS?

What else should i know about my 87 NA auto to 1jz auto swap?

you will need the BIC motormounts or swap to an 89+ crossmember

its gonna be fun trying to find a 1JZ ignitor....any pics of the engine set like the cut harness you might be missing more than you think.

Ive already contacted the seller and know what i need. Ive also sourced the iginitor and Map sensor. Im also aware of the BIC mounts.


WHAT i NEED to know is about the auto trans. Is it a direct swap from the 1jz into the ma70 chassis. what about mounts, driveshaft and diff.

well i t need the fans, ic, ic piping to. since im goint aftermarket ont he fans, ic, and piping, most of that is irrelivant to me. I knwo what parts are missing, and what needed. Its not a short list.

All i want to know about is the auto trans. If i dont like what i hear, i will buy the clip they re selling for $2800 and have everything i need, including pparts for a 5 spd swap. Unsure about pedals and clutch master cylander of they are the same or not.

it should all go in im not too sure but it sounds like a direct swap...im not a fan of autos so i never really read up on it...

I'd get a clip.. or at least a full engine set.. I dont think the rhd pedels will work for a lhd car
