I feel your pain... I just went through the same dilemma in deciding which gasket set to order. Conclusion I came to: If I'm going to put all that time and energy into ripping parts out, cleaning them well, and putting new gaskets on, I'll be pissed if the cheap ones leak and I have to do it again. If you can afford it, get a good gasket set (something with a name brand you've heard of is a good start). Better to do it once and do it right. I'd worry how the ebay set can be that cheap and still be of high quality.

I would go with OEM or a good aftermarket set.

I had a Yonaka set.
One area I had trouble with leaks was the cam cover gaskets were of poor quality when I used a cheaper gasket set.
Had to switch to OEM and haven't had problems since.

Any of the rubber or viton I would suspect might have problems over time with the kit you listed.

Never use a headgasket from a kit such as this, I ran into fitmet issues and poor quality.
Don't skimp on the gaskets, chances are you will have to fix it later anyway.

I agree...
These chinese gasket kits are ok for the standard flat gaskets,
Hell, in a pinch, I have cut gaskets out of cereal boxes,
but I wouldn't use their valve seals, shaft seals or cam cover gaskets.

So with that in mind,
After you pay for a cheap gasket set, that you can only use half of,
and run around finding the other items,
you would just be better off buying a good kit in the first place.

Too bad some of the so-called Supra shops don't offer a complete set
with a metal head gasket, and good shaft, and valve seals.

Personally, I use Fel-Pro, and have been real happy with them.

Has anyone used TopLine Gasket kit? I bought a full rebuild set but have not yet used it. I've heard that the valve seals weren't good, after I bought the set.... The appearance of the gaskets seem to be of high quality.....

Hunt around the ebay stores and find a Stone/Ishino gasket set. They're very well made gaskets and are much cheaper than Toyota or Fel-Pro. I haven't had one fail on me yet.

Do Not Use Anything Else Besides A Metal Head Gasket.

This is a good recommendation only if you understand the prep required and follow it. See info in the link below before you just stick a metal head gasket in. This info is furnished by Reg Riemer, who is one of the most respected Supra experts
