I know this topic has been brought up alot, but one company I found eristic.... I looked at some other threads, any many people have said that 99% of the cheap gaskets kits are sh*t but theweezl and kai said that this company was decent and had no problems, now with this gte I have out of the car that I will be putting in soon I want to change some of the gaskets, it already has a preped MHG, so I wont be using that...the main things I need from the kit are the exhaust mani, intake mani, turbo gaskets, water pump, injector o rings, oil pan(Ive heard FIPG from toyota is the best to use), and valve covers. I really want to hear facts or form people who has had experience with this company..not just opnions. If the responses seem too risky Ill just go fel-pro
thanks

fel-pro is just reboxed cheap stuff...

best gaskets you can get are factory... they aren't cheap, but they don't leak...

most of the gaskets don't matter, but the ones that are notable are the exhaust manifold gasket and the turbo gaskets...

If most of the gaskets dont matter, is it better/cheaper to get the necessary notable gaskets from toyota and then get a cheap fel-pro set? What gaskets would you say you acctualy need from toyota and which ones can you do without?

I have a fel-pro set on mine as I was on a horribly tight budget at the time...

it's really hard to say, but I did forget one... the throttlebody gasket has to be modified on the fel-pro one...

personally, if you can afford it, get the toyota one...

Yea, the throttle body gasket in the fel-pro/eBay kits have an opening that is waaaay too small...has to be opened up slightly...I used a pair of scissors.

I used an eBay gasket set, with a thin layer of Toyota seal packing on every gasket when I did my BHG replacement and haven't had any leak yet...

But I must say, the Toyota gaskets really feel a lot more substantial, and they are all very high quality.
