I find a LOT of supra people i know simply drive around just to pass time. I do this as well. Just wondering how much of the rest of the community does this?

I cant even imagine how much money ive wasted just cruising around for no reason :nono:. At the price of gas i probably could've bought a few new turbo setups :3d_frown:

Im still gonna keep doing it though lol

A nice drive on the weekend for me is 1000 Km's/600 mile , a quick I'm bored is about 200 Km's/125 mile

Used to do it much more in NJ where the roads were worth driving on. Not as much now, but that has no relation at all to the cost of fuel going up. It actually ticks me off a bit when people moan about the price of fuel all the time, especially in the US.

Well yes, but the roads are shitty, plus there's nowhere to go (small country, even smaller towns ). So that means I don't drive around a lot.

I dont drive just to drive, but I sure as hell love down shifter and stepping on it in 3rd gear at 3000rpms..

I use to do it when I was younger but now I havent had a chance since I rarely have money for food I cant afford to waste the gas!

its at my shop so once a week I fire it up and piss people off get it nice and warmed up then put it away. gotta keep the juices flowing.

I have a 98 Escort ZX2 5 speed I got for 1k for a daily driver for work and now the law enforcement academy, but when I do drive my supra I drive aimlessly around, sometimes gunning it for some thrills and quick twisties normally I take it out a couple times a week for 3 to 8 hours of cruising and such. Rightn ow my baby is down with a battery connector issue and dead battery that I am working on, I have the parts but this constitutional law is killing me and my buddy who is a wiring whiz is out of town.

I seem to always find a way to get some gas in my supra, even if i am broke as a joke...credit cards FTMFL tho haha

It is a good way to put a smile on my face, so I can't complain too much about the cost of driving it around a bit. And now that I have a steady income, its allll good.

i do, every day. 90% of the time it's just up to the local ski resort. and on occasion i 4hr or 7hr loop through the mountains. (google maps says it takes that long, but i disagree.)
